Marcelle Elfar, the Marketing Associate to the ONswitch team, hails from Rhode Island and came to New York for college. She plans to pursue a career in public relations, marketing or broadcast journalism. She will be graduating in May from the Honors Program at the College of Mount Saint Vincent with a B.A. in Communication.

She is a member of several honors societies, including the Communication Honors Society. Marcelle also serves as a news anchor for the weekly live news reports on her college’s television station.

Marcelle is no newbie to the public relations world. She was formerly employed as a Student Assistant in the public relations department of Consumers Union, publisher of Consumer Reports and ShopSmart magazines. Her drive and capabilities did not go unnoticed, and her position which was intended to last for 14 weeks was extended to two years.
