Sarah
O’Grady lives for creative ideation. Her brain sizzles with cutting edge
marketing strategies and pops with creative copy concepts. She has over ten
years of copy experience across numerous industries including home design,
fashion, beauty, and CPG. Sarah is also adept across various platforms including
interactive, social media, print advertising and direct mail. Her ability to
synergize a brand or business’s voice and create compelling, engaging messaging
is why we love working with her.
Sarah has partnered with theONswitch since 2009, bringing creative solutions
to the marketing table for each client she works with. She follows the mantra of
“quality over quantity,” developing a strong message in everything she touches.
Her career accomplishments include revamping the image and voice of Ethan
Allen, Inc. — the American heritage home furnishings brand — creating a modern
and fresh tone for the company in 2008 and helping successfully launch the new
ethanallen.com, replete with an editorial section and e-commerce capabilities
for over 3,000 SKUs. She also helped launch Yelp.com in 2004, bringing the San
Francisco brand’s honest appeal and fun tone to the New York City market. And
early on in her career she heralded news for Robin Quivers of The Howard Stern
Show — so she knows how to hold her own, even against the King (and Queen) of
All Media.
Sarah is also the founder of a Westchester County, NY based social media
networking group called Westchester140. She’s successfully planned and executed
numerous local events to date, featuring impressive guest speakers and
panelists, local food and drink, and stuffed-to-the-gills goody bags.
Sarah holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Delaware. When she’s
not writing persuasive copy, she’s honing her Top Chef-like skills, or burying
herself in a New York magazine crossword puzzle.
