How Can We Turn Concept to Clicks to Cash – in 90 Days?

Tagsellit (www.tagsellit.com) is a start-up business that takes the traditional tag sale and brings it online – with a cool range of ways to sell and buy.  The young entrepreneur owners had tried the “do it yourself” method of marketing and PR, with little success.

Imagine

The goal was to build awareness and web traffic – fast!

Focus

Working with a limited budget, we focused on local and highly-targeted national PR and social media, including blogs read by moms, bargain shoppers, and tag sale fanatics.

Buzz

Within a few short weeks, we:

  • Launched a monthly e-newsletter, to keep fans and prospects in the know about latest tag sale and company news and tips.
  • Secured feature coverage for the company in the New York Times, both partners’ local papers (The Journal-News and the Star-Ledger), the Westchester Business Journal, and lined-up an interview with Real Simple magazine
  • Piqued the interest of several major mom bloggers

Profit

We’re only a few months into the program, and Tagsellit is well on its way to making its website everybody’s “front yard” for buying and selling – taking tag sales to a whole new level.  Web traffic and sales are up and the “Tag Sale Guys” are hard at work at their soon-to-be-published “Ultimate Guide to Tag Sales.”  Stay tuned…
