An established farmers market brand launched a new supermarket product line, New York Deli Pickle. theONswitch was hired to create the new brand image and generate consumer loyalty.


Building awareness to fill the store shelves and consumers’ shopping carts


We concocted a fully integrated store demo program (sales kit, in-store display, tent, life-size “Pickle Guy,” consumer hand-outs, database system, social media, an online crowd-sourced pickle cookbook and mega PR outreach.) We even recruited and trained a “pickle posse” to work stores throughout the NY area.


Mentions in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Newsday, Westchester Magazine and local TV and hyper-local print media in NY, NJ, LI, and CT. The CEO was featured in a book about entrepreneurship. (The supermarket brand was later retired, but the farmers market business is alive and well. Life is sweet and sour!)
